Wylie Rodeo County Fair Camp-out & Community Service Cleanup 2016

WHAT:
Rodeo and County Fair & cleanup
The Wylie Chamber of Commerce has invited us to stay the night and enjoy the rodeo for free if we help with cleanup!

You can get free tickets (normally $10 per adult, $5 per child) to the Wylie professional rodeo and join the pack in our own campsite to stay the night!   You just need to help us with our community service project of cleaning up the area in the morning (you don't have to say the night if you would like to return in the morning).

WHEN: Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 3PM - Sunday, September 11, 2015 at 12PM
The Fair and Rodeo start on Friday Sept. 9th, however we will be going to the Saturday night rodeo on Sept 10th, and helping to clean up at 8am Sunday the 11th.
Cleanup is expected to take up to 3 hours.  Some clean up activities will require adult only assistance (disassembly, etc).
The Rodeo start time is 6:30pm but the general public will start arriving at 5:30pm.
This has typically been a fairly easy campout for anyone new to tent camping, and is a good time to test out any new camping equipment you may have, or find out what you need!  It is also a fairly unique experience for families to see some of the 'behind the scenes' at a rodeo. If you don't have a tent, let us know and we can help out!

You do must  RSVP  by Tuesday Sept. 6th so that we know how many tickets to request!!

WANT TO CAMPOUT?
If you would like to stay the night:
 - We can setup anytime after 3pm on Saturday, but should be finished setting up no later than 4:30pm.
We will be at the north-east corner along the eastern tree line at the end of the field, There will be a tent setup in the area we will be in fairly early in the afternoon, and typically it has been marked off for us.  This will be a 'tent only' campout. You will be asked to park cars end to end to block in our area to prevent any animals from running through our campsite!

- There will not be a campfire (no fires allowed).
- Bring your dinner picnic or visit food vendors at the fair.  The Pack will provide a quick breakfast of: milk, juice and pastries.  Bring other food for your family as you see fit.  We will have water and lemonade available.

What family needs to provide (minimum):
- Tent   (if you dont have one, let a leader know and we may be able to find one to lend)
- sleeping stuff: air mattress or foam pads, sleeping bags or blankets, sheet, pillow, etc
