Our boys will be grateful if these positions can be filled. They won't know the work is being done, but if it is, their Cub Scout experience will be more rewarding. Remember - many volunteers make the work lighter for each of us. There is a lot to be done to make the pack great!  If you have an interest in any of these positions (even filled positions), please E-mail the Cubmaster or Committee Chair.

Committee Chairperson
: Ensure that everyone is performing their jobs; conduct Pack Committee Meetings as required; reserve school facility for Pack Meetings. Make yearly schedule. Approx. 4 hours per month.

Cubmaster: Programs and leads the monthly Pack Meetings; guide and support den leaders. Focuses on the boys and parents, assuring that boys receive a quality program. Creates and maintains a relationship with the local Boy Scout troops. Approx. 10 hours per month.
- Assistant Cubmaster: Responsibilities include helping the Cubmaster during Pack Meetings, attending Pack Leader meetings, and other assistance as required. May plan to succeed the Cubmaster. Approx. 2-4 hours per month.

Den Leaders: Responsibilities include planned, regular den meetings, usually weekly, that stimulate scouts' imagination and growth while assisting them to complete projects and award requirements. Attend Pack Leader meeting. Leader training material is available. Approx. 4-5 hours per month.
- Assistant Den Leaders: Help with activities listed for Den Leader. Approx. 3 hours per month.

Treasurer: Responsibilities include collection and disbursement of all pack funds through established checking account, reporting balance and major sources of disbursement of funds on a regular basis. Approx. 2 hours per month.
- Assistant Treasurer: Help with collection and disbursement of all pack funds. Planned succession to become Treasurer. Approx. 1-2 hours per month.

Committee Members
Recruit the Cubmaster and one or more assistant Cubmasters, with the chartered organization's approval.  Provide adequate and safe facilities for pack meetings.  Coordinate the pack's program and the chartered organization's program through the chartered organization representative.
Help with pack charter renewal. Help stimulate the interest of adult family members through proper programming.  Supervise finances and equipment.
Work closely with the Cubmaster.  Ensure that all Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, and Webelos Scouts receive a year-round, quality program.
1-3 hours per month.

Pack Trainer
The goal of the pack trainer is to have 100 percent of the pack leaders trained in their position responsibilities. New leaders and adult family members should receive orientation within one week of joining the pack, and leaders should receive position-specific training within 30 days.  2-5 hours per month.

Awards Chairperson: Prepares and submits pack advancement report, purchase and assemble awards for distribution as Pack Meetings, maintains an inventory of various awards. 1-2 hours per month.

Advancement Chairperson: Help ensure den leaders and parents that the boys are on track for advancement.  Work with leaders to ensure their own advancement. 2-3 hours per month.

Membership Coordinator: Help the Committee Chairman with the re-chartering process. Check the current roster, register returning scouts, collect registration fees, compile payment volunteer list. Coordinate Fall Membership Rally.  Coordinate Spring 'Tiger Rally'. Approx. 1 hour per month and 4 hours in April, 4 hours in August.

Popcorn 'Kernel' Sale Coordinator : Order pre-sale popcorn, coordinate paperwork (including sales packs), collects orders, distributes popcorn. Arrange for prizes. Approx 8 hours in September and October.

Camping Coordinator: Help plan the Fall and Spring family camping events, location, date, activities.  Help plan meals, purchase food.  Approx. 6 hours each campout.
-Camping Committee Members- Assist in planning and executing the Fall and Spring campouts.

Pack Photographer: Take pictures and/or video of Pack activities. Develop display and/or video for Blue and Gold Banquet and for Year-End Pack Meeting. Provide pictures for the Pack web site. Approx. 2 hours per month.

Communications Coordinator: Assemble information from committee leads and Den Leaders. Publish listings of upcoming events for distribution at Pack Meetings. Write and submits information about Pack to local media. This position may be combined with the Pack Webmaster position. Approx. 2 hours per month (more if combined with Webmaster).

Pack Webmaster: Maintain the Pack website, including updating the Home Page, Pack News, Pack Calendar, and Photos. This position may be combined with the Communications Coordinator position. Approx. 2 hours per month (more if combined with Communications Coordinator.

Scouting for Food Coordinator: Coordinate the food drive for 'Scouting for Food'. Distribute information, bags, routes, and deliver food to local drop-off point. Approx. 3 hours in Feburary.

Blue and Gold Banquet Coordinator: Organize the annual Blue and Gold Banquet. Secure the location of the banquet. Delegate jobs that include organizing entertainment, collecting money, planning the program, making programs, and setting up the hall. Approx. 8 hours in February.
- Blue and Gold Banquet Committee Members: Assist in planning and executing the Blue and Gold Banquet.

Pinewood Derby Coordinator: Organize volunteers to help and direct the activities required for the annual Monster Garage and Pinewood Derby. Include coordinating Monster Garage night, weigh-in on race day, race, securing cars, arranging date and location of race, and securing the racetrack for the event. Approx. 16 hours in March.
- Pinewood Derby Weigh-in Helpers: Help the day of weigh-in. Approx. 4 hours in March.
- Pinewood Derby Helpers: Help the day of the derby, and help at Monster Garage car building meeting. Approx. 6 hours in March.

Special Outing Coordinators: Organize a special event for the Pack, which could include a musuem visit, fishing derby, or coordinating one of the many pre-planned 'Scouting Night' events that the Circle 10 district provides through the year. Each coordinator is responsible for a single special outing or may organize multiple outings, if you choose. Approx. 4 hours for each event.

Mom & Me/Dad & Lad Camp Coordinator
: Coordinate the Spring Mom and Me campout for Tiger and Wolf cubs. Approx. 4 hours between March and June.

Twilight Camp Coordinator: Organize participation in Summer Twilight Camp. Collect and deliver cap fees. Arrange car pools and parent volunteers. Approx. 4 hours in spring/summer.

Webelos Camp Coordinator: Coordinate the Webelos summer Camp that takes place during the summer.  Approx 3 hours.

Summer Event Coordinator: Organize a summer outing or picnic for the Pack. Approx. 4 hours in June, July, or August.

T-shirt Sale Coordinator: Organize the sale of Pack t-shirts and sweatshirts. Approx. 6 hours (in the spring or fall).
